THE TRUTH ABOUT
The truth is what you learned growing up wasn't true! There are not only two genders and gender is not a male or female, pink or blue concept. Gender comes in different forms and colors and shades and intensities. Just because you were born male doesn't mean you have to be a boy! And just because you are a boy doesn't mean you have to play with cars and can't play with dolls! Gender is something that YOU, not your parents, not your doctor, not your peers, decide for yourself!
THE TRUTH:
Many cultures, especially ours here in the U.S.A, have unintentionally established a social gender binary system. This means that members of our society are expected to fit into one of two categories of gender: man and woman. This means that all people who are sexually male are expected to act, dress, and identify in one way while all people who are sexually female are expected to act another way.
This system is FAULTY and does not represent the core of humanity correctly. People are diverse and beautiful, nobody should ever feel restricted or forced to act in a way that is not true to themself.
